History Cruises
2-Hour Historic Cruises on San Francisco Bay are held from May to November on alternating weeks on Saturday and Thursday. All cruises depart Jack London Square at 11 am. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time for check in.

Private Charter
Consider the Potomac - The USS Potomac, President Roosevelt's "Floating White House" is available for limited private charter. Consider the USS Potomac all through the year for your special events. Whether it is an anniversary, wedding, reception, promotion or any other occasion, the Potomac is a truly unique venue for a very special day and offers:

This National Historic Landmark is a Coast Guard certified, fully seaworthy vessel and regularly cruises on San Francisco Bay. For information on cruises or dockside charters call (510) 627-1667.

Dockside Tours
Reservations are required for group tours of 10 or more. Please call (510) 627-1215 for group reservations. School classes are free but must make reservations.

History Cruises

The Potomac Association holds several fundraising events throughout the year. Tickets are available at TicketWeb or by calling (866) 468-3399.

The Potomac will be offering special cruises on Opening Day on the Bay (April), July 4th, Fleet Week and Veteran's Day. Other cruises may be added later. Please call the Association for the most current information on all cruises.

The Potomac sails rain or shine. Tickets for History Cruises are transferable, but not refundable and must be used within one year of the original cruise date. All prices are subject to change.

The Presidential Yacht Potomac does not fully comply with the facility access standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The facility allows limited access for the mobility impaired. Potomac docents or staff are available to provide access assistance to mobility-impaired individuals when the vessel is open to the public.
