The Potomac operates narrated two-hour cruises with docents
around San Francisco Bay from May through November.
Emphasis is placed on the impact Franklin Delano Roosevelts
administration had upon the Bay Area and surrounding landmarks.
Guests watch a 15-minute video in the Visitor Center prior to the
cruise. The video provides a glimpse of Franklin Delano Roosevelts
use of the Potomac, emphasizing the impact of his administration
on the country and the Potomac restoration story. While on
board, guests may elect to take a docent led tour or self guided
tour. Coffee, tea and water is available.

Tickets for History Cruises are transferable, but not
refundable and must be used within one year of their purchase date.

Washington Street Garage between 2nd and Embarcadero Streets, one
block from the Potomac. Sorry, we do not validate.
The Presidential Yacht Potomac does not fully comply with
the facility access standards of the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA). The facility allows limited access for the mobility impaired.
Potomac docents or staff are available to provide access
assistance to mobility-impaired individuals when the vessel is open
to the public.
The Potomac will be
offering special cruises on Opening Day on the Bay (April), July
4th, Fleet Week and Veteran's Day. Other cruises may be added later.
